What can I say, at ikario we like heroic things...
Like green smoothies aka nutrition-bombs packed full of micro nutrients from whole foods. Eat one giant green smoothie every week and you'll be way healthier.
Here are the steps to get you started:
- Get a big blender (not a tiny blender)
- Fill it up with spinach
- Add two bananas
- 1 Carrot or beetroot
- 1-3 cups of berries
- 2 tbsp of nuts or pumpkin seeds
- 1 tbsp of flax or chia
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- Small amounts (0.5 tsp) of any of the following: cinnamon, turmeric, chlorella, powdered reishi, chaga or other mushrooms
- Optional: a scoop of your favorite protein powder
- 0.5L favorite plant milk
- Top up with water
That's it!
