What do you want?
If I were to ask you this in person, I could safely guess that any answer you related to one thing. Freedom. You want to live life on your terms. You want to never worry about money again and steer the ship of your own life.
As much as we might wish otherwise, financial freedom is the essential component to most other kinds of freedom we can experience.
But how do you achieve financial freedom - without falling into any one of the countless "fake guru" traps you might find online. Is there a relatively reliable way to secure the steady wealth building that might one day lead to financial freedom?
Recently we answered that question in full. Recently we released a wealth building course entirely for free. You can check that out here.
In this episode of the ikario podcast, we outline some of the things in the course and talk about some of the fundamentals of wealth building.

Great episode!
It´s interesting I had a book around money mindset laying around for a few months and just read it through one week ago and then Shane´s course and this podcast is coming along. Sometimes you just know it´s a hint from the universe 😉
What I might add (but don´t know if the course is covering that) is the emotional baggage around that. All these belief systems we got engrained on what it means to struggle with money or being wealthy. When my parents where watching the expenses from their neighbours and friends saying things like “He must be shitting money in order to drive THAT kind of car” or “spending money on stuff like THAT” I got the message: You are not liked when you have a lot of money or spending it the way you want.
And that is hard to digest. Because it basically triggers the survival response. Our primal brain doesn´t give a shit about money or “freedom” it just wants us to survive and that could be a bare minimum of what we really want.

Yes, there can be a lot of emotional baggage around money for sure.
I do address this breifly in the course, but as usual, I have an “action first” approach. For me, what did the most work to shift my own mindset about money was seeing my savings grow, seeing my investments grow, seeing that I could indeed take charge of my financial life and get financially un-stuck.
In my experience, habit change in small steps and “stacking small wins” is an extremely effective way to change mindset.
Was that book Julie Ann Cairns’ “The Abundance Code”? If not, I think you would like it.
