What is freedom?
Is it never worrying about money again? Is it taking vacations multiple times a year? Is it Being able to live wherever you want? Not having a boss and living life on your terms?
Great answers. But there's another kind of freedom. One you don't often hear about.
That is the freedom to tell the truth to everyone.
You see, according to author and psychotherapist Brad Blanton who wrote the book Radical Honesty way back in the 90s, everybody lies. To everyone.
We lie so much that we apparently forget we're lying and the content of the lies we've told.
This wouldn't be so bad if, as Brad Blanton asserts, didn't cause the majority (if not all) of the stress we experience in our lives.
To tell the truth is a powerful and freeing thing to do, as I talked about in this episode. But how do you practice it? Should you be honest 100% of the time? Wouldn't that make you an asshole?
I pitch these questions and many more to Jura Glo in this episode of the ikario podcast. Jura is a Radical Honesty trainer who not only runs her own podcast show called Honestea, she also runs workshops all over europe teaching people how to implement Radical Honesty in their lives and relationships.
And at the end, we even practice Radical Honesty on each other. It was amazing.
